Ingredient Highlight: Hyaluronic Acid

Increasingly, hyaluronic acid has become more common in skincare products. It is now one of the most popular ingredients in skincare products, but it seems a lot of people don’t quite know why.
Hyaluronic acid acts as a moisture magnet, ensuring that your skin retains as much moisture as possible. By enabling our skin to retain moisture it means that our skin will look plumper and more radiant. Wrinkles and fine lines appear diminished in hydrated skin; yes, even the deeper wrinkles are less visible! And if you have oily skin and are beginning to worry that this ingredient will make your skin worse, don’t. Hyaluronic Acid acts as a regulator, meaning your skin won’t lock in extra moisture that is not needed and usually makes your skin look greasy. Hyaluronic Acid is suitable or all skin types. Furthermore, it acts as a barrier, protecting our skin from pollution.
Hyaluronic acid can be found in many of our products, for example, some of our creams, serums and sheet masks. Eclat Skin products are specially formulated to help hydrate and nourish your skin, and to help reduce the appearance of ageing, restoring your skins youthful glow. This is why hyaluronic acid is one of our key ingredients!
